Two thumbs down on your insurance thesis.
I see your plan as a new tax on people who have done nothing wrong, so what is new. Do drivers really buy insurance or do they just pay a tax for the privilege to drive.
Mental Health, more police on the beat, gun buy backs, drug prohibition, enforcing existing gun laws, and poverty. All are expensive!
We are in a flux. A division of laws and the law of the jungle.
Lack of leadership in Congress is the people's doing, shame on us.
Obama is a smart man with smart advisers and I agreed with his press conference in Wisconsin, but the liberal part of the party is making gun control a political objective. This in my opinion will fuel the tea party movement thus making it difficult or impossible for the President to get meaningful legislation.

HOW COME ALL THE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS N ALL THE INSURANCE COMPANIES COULDNT COME UP WITH THIS IDEA FOR GUN REGULATION (NOT CONTROL) ASO THIS IS GREAT FOR THE MONEY STRAPPED STATES LIKE NEW YORK TO RAISE MONEY WITH INSURANCE, LICENSES FOR THE PERSON, INSURANCE N LICENSES FOR ALL THEIR GUNS, N MAYBE THEIR AMMUNITION. ALSO STATE N COUNTY REGISTRATION PLUS SUR CHARGES, A CHARGE FOR A TEST PLUS TAXES MAYBE IT WILL GET THE GOV OFF OUR BACK WITH ALL THE RED TAPE EXPENSES WE NEED TO OWN N DRIVE A CAR AND MAKE THE RICH MULTI GUN OWNERS PAY. IM WITH YOU LISA. WHAT DO WE DO NEXT.

Great show today, as always. Nice that you'll be going to see your parents a couple of weeks. Start the diet on the 24th. Enjoy the food. Happy New Year, Best Wishes for 2013.

I just had to email you about your article on being a feminist. I just could not agree with you more! It's one of the pet peeves of my existence!

If you believe in equal social, political, & economic equality for women... then you're a feminist, by dictionary definition. I don't know who would really want to distance themselves from those principles? It's baffling and it perpetually gets me worked up! (Younger especially) Women need to be (re)educated on the topic certainly.

So, THANK YOU for the post- it actually felt cathartic for me. :)

I live in the same neighborhood that I grew up in so I vote at the school I attended for grade school. Thegym had these thick ropes that hung from the ceiling that we climbed from time to time in gym class. I never remember anyone getting hurt on them and all the kids loved them. A few years ago when I went into the gym to vote, I happened to look up and they were gone! So sad...
Have a nice Yom Kippur, sorry I don't know the proper way to wish well for that. All the best,
Chris

Welcome Back! I hope you had a nice Holiday and enjoyed time with family.
I would have chosen brains over luck as well but I think your Dad was right. I would also add that who you know is more important than what you know it seems. Enjoying the show.

The Government cancels contracts at will without any support for the individual.
I signed a contract in 1976 to provide my wife with a Survivor Benefit Package (SBP) which would have insured her with 55% of my base pay for life or until she remarried. I was told in writing that I could not change my one time offer at a later date. I continued to serve until 1991 and made several financial decisions at that time choosing the 55% from the Air Force and 30% from my other employer. In 1992 the Air Force SBP was changed and reduced to 35% citing that my Social Security would make up the difference in the amount. I have again been informed that I cannot make another choice and have permanently terminated my choice to withdraw from the Air Force SBP.

Thank you for supporting our military and bringing coverage to the sailors that were fired through the enlistment retention board due to mismanagement of the navy. My husband was one of the sailors that was fired and had a perfect record. He was sailor of the year of his command when we found out and they still will not give us a reason why he was chosen along with the 3000 other sailors who had their contracts broken. It is such a shame that military families give up everything to support the freedom of our country and then can just be fired with no reason. Our lives have been turned upside down since my husbands contract was broken and we just want justice for everyone affected. Please continue to spread the word as I am sure if more people knew about how awful our government is really treating our military and veterans they would be outraged.

: I would like to thank you, for getting our story out there, for fighting for us, for supporting us, for giving us strength. I cannot express just how grateful I am to you for all of your help. From the bottom of my heart thank you!!

I want to personally thank you for picking this story up... My husband was affected by this... He got a civilian job with the airforce but it's making about $28000 less on top of outlandish cost for medical insurance. We have a total of 7 children between us... From what I understand, our separation pay will get paid back via when he retires or if he gets approved for his disability claim... Not only that... When the taxed the separation pay approximately 28%, they taxed his entire last paycheck that tax amount leaving his final pay a wopping $33 and some change... My husband had a year left on his contract... I'm more pissed at the time we loss having Tricare and loosing our dental... And the emotional strain it took on my marriage watching him beat up himself and worry how he was going to take care of us... ( I was a stay at home m) I think they should have to pay for the breech of contract .. No strings attached for the separation pay ect...

Hi Lisa.......Saw you on Fox today with the mule Alan Colmes. You were really terrific. Thank you for trying to defend the military. I saw Obama 2016 today confirming my feelings about him. I can't believe how absolutely uninformed the American public is. It is obvious to me now why Obama is one of the most dangerous men for America and in the world. He hides behind his smile and his pandering. Thank you again for your voice... Madge f P.S. Please tell Jill we miss her..................

just watched fox. You were composed and articulate. So real, unlike the robotic automated performance of your opponent. You made your point, hope something gets done

I just saw you arguing with Alan Colmes. I am so angry about what have been reporting. Please push this topic more by contacting O'Reilly, Hannity, any other media outlet and the Romney campaign. Thanks for uncovering this for America.

I live in Westchester and recently came across your show on 1230 WFAS and enjoy it very much. I tune in whenever possible. Although I don't agree with you on everything, your views are refreshing after listening to the other AM stations in the NY area. I like to put a "face" to the "voice" I hear. After looking you up online, just wanted to let you know you should be on television instead of the radio. Keep up the good work.
Chris

Have enjoyed listening to your live broadcasts from both the RNC and DNC. Leave it to you to uncover what I think is the most interesting story of the past few weeks, the despicable behavior of the Navy vis a vis their "firing" of almost 3,000 active enlisted personnel. On another note, your guest interviews and analysis were wonderful, as usual. Can't wait to hear you back "home" in Westchester. Safe travels. Sherri Davis

Lisa,
That was great Radio!
You are a Rock Star with live interviews.
Your coverage was by far the most informative, entertaining, and thought provoking of all the media I watched or listened too.
The energy of You and your guest really came through the air waves.
Other media coverage was disappointing to say the least.
Looking forward to your coverage of the DNC.

As a former Navy wife due to the erb, I am thanking you for taking the time in helping spread the word of what the navy is doing to thousands of sailors and their families!

Congratulations to Lisa and the WFAS team on a great show at the Republican Convention.
Please keep those opinions coming! Agree or Disagree I Love Listening to the show.

I was listening to your broadcast today on my way home from work. You played a clip that Romney said...."at least they didn't ask to see my birth certificate", you stated that Obama was asked since he is black, in my opinion that is absurd, no one said anything about his color, many people are aware that he is ruining this country. You should keep your dam opinions to yourself. Unemployement and gas prices have never been so high until your friend Obama became president. He is also taking funds from Medicare to support OBAMACARE, I heard you talking about your mother the other day, I wonder how she willl like a cut in medicare as well as OBAMACARE!!!

HI LISA- I HATE TO SHATTER AN ILLUSION BUT THIS ATTACK ON OUR EARS HAS BEEN INCREASING SINCE THE '80s. I DONT GO ANYWHERE NOW WITHOUT MY FOAM EAR PLUGS- I CAN HEAR WHAT PEOPLE SAY BUT IT DROWNS OUT PAINFUL LOUD NOISES. I HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING FOR YEARS TO DJs, REST. MGRS, HAIR SALONS, PRIVATE PARTIES, AND OWNERS OF HAND DRYERS IN LADIES ROOMS. AND I SEEM TO BE THE ONLY ONE. MY HEARING IS STILL GOOD BUT I THINK EVERYONE ELSE IS HARD OF HEARING.
